Today is the last day of our second English with Character children’s summer camp. The theme for today is GENEROSITY. The twins had prepared THANK YOU cards for everyone involved in the camp the night before with much generosity of spirit. These thank you cards brought much JOY to everyone.
Yesterday was our second day of the camp. The main quality of character the children worked on was PATIENCE. They did activities that required patience. One was waiting for the bread they had mixed the day before in the oven and wait patiently for it to get ready.
This week’s camp has totally a different spirit. Last week we had 6 lovely boys and one lovely girl. This week we have 4 lovely girls, and two of them are twins.
Today was the last day of camp 1. Camp 2 is starting on Monday July 25th. There are two spaces available.
Tomorrow is our last day with this group of children and I know I’m going to miss them. Next week they are all going to be girls.
On the 3rd day of our English with Character camp children showed enthusiasm, friendliness and responsibility.
Day 2 of our summer camp (English with Character) was filled with joyful learning. The children were excited about eating the bread they had all helped to make yesterday. They practiced the skill to cut with a big knife by themselves and felt competent. And learned about the quality of PATIENCE.
Today was the first day of our English with Character camp.
It was action packed and full of joyful learning.
After 6 hours of that I’m not even feeling tired!
Children give energy!
