Day 2 of our summer camp (English with Character) was filled with joyful learning. The children were excited about eating the bread they had all helped to make yesterday. They practiced the skill to cut with a big knife by themselves and felt competent. And learned about the quality of PATIENCE.

The dragon fruit was a hit

The children showed responsibility by setting the table and cleaning up after themselves.

Participation was good…

Studying about animals ended up in face painting, using my Mac eye make up to look like raccoons.

The food, once again was a hit! Specially the chicken was gone in a blinking.

Play dough was a source of not only creativity but peacefulness and friendly conversations.

The exercise on Patience truly gave them an opportunity to be patient. Thanks to The Family Learning House, Beijing.

The flower arrangement activity was yet another peaceful time. They looooved doing it.

They each showed their individuality by choosing their case, flower and design and arrangement.

They were mesmerised by the puppet show. Great way to practice sentences. 100% participation.

Oregami went well thanks to the kids themselves! Because I was no help.

And we all know oregano is not for everyone.

The paper airplanes were tried out for functionality.

The finale was the yoga ball. So popular that almost started a fight. A great opportunity to practice and learn how to solve problems.
